AVP CARD SERVICES MANAGER

The AVP Card Services Manager position is responsible for overseeing the growth, retention, and ongoing development of Nicolet's Card Services Products to create exceptional Cardholder experiences that directly contributes to the shared success amongst Customers, Employees, and Shareholders, while differentiating Nicolet as a leader in the Card Payments market. In addition, the position is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the bank's ATM fleet is operational.

As an AVP Card Services Manager, you will:

    • Delivers best in class experiences related to Card Products & Services.
    • Oversees continued Growth & Engagement, Profitability, Risk Management, and Expense Control for Card Services Products.
    • Manages relationships with Card Services Product partners [Fiserv, Mastercard, Transunion, others] to include Product roadmaps, new product & services opportunities to continuously enhance cardholder experience, escalation and final resolution of issues related to Card Services Products.
    • Creates and manages the Card Services Product roadmap to ensure on-target, high quality, and timely release of new products and services and engagement/adoption (internally and by customers).
    • Attends industry events and conferences to keep current on industry trends and competition impacting Card Services and Payments.
    • Maintains the strictest confidentiality of all bank matters.
    • Provides courteous, professional services to customers by receiving, screening and transferring telephone calls and providing routine information to clients or customers.
    • Takes independent action on handling customer requests and determines the appropriate course of action where necessary.
    • Maintains the bank's ATM Fleet, external services contracts, scheduling of installations.
    • Works with ATM vendors and branches for ATM installs, upgrades, service issues, and resolution.
    • Assists Branches with ATM servicing (including upgrades, service issues, training) Create and update training and troubleshooting procedures.
    • Uphold Nicolet's philosophy and policies by maintaining appropriate controls to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, thereby fulfilling legal responsibilities and enhancing the quality of Nicolet.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES:

Directly supervise the Card Services team in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; coaching, mentoring and development planning; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 5-7 years retail banking or card experience required.
