Intermediate Compliance Privacy Specialist Remote or Hybrid in Lewisville, TX $80,000 to $92,000 DOE The Privacy Specialist will assist in the ongoing progression and maintenance of the company's privacy program efforts, including but not limited to administration of privacy enhancing technologies such as Protenus, processing of data subject rights requests, evaluation of privacy impact assessments, policy and procedure implementation, and assistance on privacy auditing. The Privacy Specialist will also support the Ethics & Compliance Department in fulfilling its mission of supporting all employees from a compliance and ethics standpoint. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Assist in completion and ongoing governance of data processing amendments (DPA) inventory * Provide guidance and direction on privacy related questions and inquiries * Support Department in ongoing development of governance over innovation and developing technologies such as AI * Assist in conducting research into laws, rules, policies, and regulations pertinent to the company's operations. Develop and prepare reports of factual observations, research findings, and recommendations designed to improve compliance * Minimum 3 years previous privacy compliance related experience * Substantial experience in healthcare, with knowledge about HIPAA and other privacy regulations * Experience with privacy related technologies * Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) required Why Choose GMR?
