Registered Nurse, Skilled Care, Bonus Opportunity Available

Provides quality, cost-effective healthcare and performs the primary functions of a registered nurse in assessing, diagnosing, identifying outcomes, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of all assigned patients. Emphasis shall be placed on maximizing patient's functional ability in the activities of daily living, promoting, maintaining and restoring health, preventing and minimizing the disabilities of acute and chronic illness. Discharges duties in a professional manner while demonstrating values of respect, dignity, integrity, and compassion. Actions are consistent with hospital policies and procedures and current standards regulations governing nursing practice and long-term care.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, current license as a registered nurse in the state of WV, or appropriate multi-state license. Current certification in CPR, Knowledge of long-term care regulations, including MDS completion and medical/surgical experience preferred. Must be eligible to work under WV Cares guidelines.
