PR & Social Media Intern - Summer 2025

Motorola North America is seeking a dynamic and creative PR and Social Media Intern to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of technology and consumer electronics while contributing to the promotion of iconic products like the Motorola Razr and other cutting-edge devices.

This internship will take place in Chicago, IL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation and scheduling of engaging social media content across platforms like Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Support PR initiatives, including drafting press releases, media lists, and event materials.
• Monitor social media trends, news, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for engagement.
• Engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries.
• Track and report on social media and PR campaign performance using analytics tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on creative campaigns and product launches.

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting and editing.
• Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Creativity and a keen eye for visual and brand storytelling.
• Familiarity with public relations concepts and tools, including press releases and media relations.
• Passion for technology, social media, and storytelling.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
