THE JOB:

As a Concierge at Mandalay Bay, you play a vital role in creating an exceptional guest experience. Your ability to swiftly adapt to booking systems and software's, combined with your commitment to delivering exceptional guest service will set the stage for the memories guests can carry with them well past their stay with us.In a collaboration of team efforts, you will efficiently manage guest requests, actively promote, and upsell venues and offerings, and assist with check-ins and check-outs.

THE STARTING RATE: $19.00 + Commission

THE SCHEDULE: On call

Hours of Operation:

8:00 am - 8:00 pm

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Efficiently process all guest requests received through calls, front facing experiences, text, email, through virtual concierge, or fax

  • Actively promote and upsell MGM Resorts' venues and services including but not limited to amenities, rooms, restaurants, shows, cabanas, retail outlets, M Life, casino events, property promotions, Spa & Salon service bookings and more

  • Address and resolve guest conflicts promptly, anticipating and mitigating potential challenges to ensure a seamless experience

  • Serve as a brand ambassador by building strong relationships and representing the property professionally with both vendors and guests

  • Handle multiple tasks across up to 26 operating systems simultaneously to meet guest needs

  • Continuously expand your knowledge of citywide offerings and build a strong professional network within the hospitality industry

  • Stay informed about policies and procedures across various departments to facilitate accurate and efficient bookings

  • Perform guest check-ins and check-outs as needed and coordinate pre-arrival, transportation and additional assistance to VIP guests

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Has a high school diploma, GED or equivalent educational experience

  • Has a flexible schedule and can work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays

  • Has prior experience working as a concierge, VIP Representative or Front Desk Agent in a resort environment

  • Is passionate about guest experience, resourceful in finding solutions, and can efficiently multi-task

  • Has exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Has previous experience using Microsoft Office, Opera, HotSOS, and ALICE

  • Bilingual
