Overview:

SCCI is seeking a Teleproduction Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will have substantial experience as a Maintenance Technician of Site Television and Video Teleconferencing facilities, including expertise in the configuration management of electronic equipment associated with Teleproduction facilities. Additionally, candidates should have experience directing, filming, editing, narrating, and researching data in support of product/site training videos and photography. This position may require occasional travel and is in support of future work expected in 2025. This position is located in Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities:



  • Supporting SCSTC/ATRC photography and audiovisual requirements for retirement events, VIP and non-VIP events, graduations, commissionings, official biographies/command photos, award ceremonies, Government passports, and Naval Support Facility (NSF) Dahlgren tenant command events held at SCSTC/ATRC
  • Overseeing scheduling of the SCSTC/ATRC auditorium, updating calendars, sending notifications to key players and security, and ensuring auditorium is properly set up (computers, projectors, sound, music, posting briefs, creating and printing of programs, filming events and producing media)
  • Ensuring all media equipment is updated and operational including maintenance and cleaning of equipment
  • Supporting the video recording of classified/unclassified training events at SCSTC/ATRC. Direct, film, edit, narrate, anchor, and research data in support of video productions
  • Ensuring high-quality production standards for all videos and photography
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of teleproduction activities


Essential Skills and Experience:



  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance
  • High School Diploma
  • Three (3) years direct experience as Maintenance Technician of Site Television and Video Teleconferencing facilities, including experience in configuration management of electronic equipment associated with Teleproduction facilities
  • At least two (2) years of experience in directing, filming, editing, narrating, and researching data in support of productions/ site training video and photography
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and communicate effectively, both written and verbal
  • Strong understanding of resource management principles and practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team



Preferred Skills and Experience:



  • Demonstrated expertise in teleproduction maintenance and management
  • Proven ability to direct, film, edit, and produce high-quality videos and photography
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
