Description
POSITION: Therapist I / II

DEPARTMENT: Community Counseling Eastern MO (JJC in St. Charles County)

Starting Salary: $50,000- $58,000 (Annually)

(Starting salary depends on education and experience)

$2,500 Sign-on / Retention Bonus

RESPONSIBILITIES: Our Community Counseling program is excited to announce we are hiring a Community-Based Therapist passionate about helping youth involved with the Juvenile Justice System. The therapist will be on-site at the St. Charles County Juvenile Justice Center to work with youth and families to heal from trauma and create lasting changes. The therapist will be part of an integrative team to drive treatment, promote mental health, and encourage hope.

An ideal candidate will have the initiative to work with advocating for youth in the Juvenile Justice System, be part of a team, and be interested in healing developmental trauma. Therapists will work with referrals from the St. Charles County Juvenile Justice Center. These consist of adolescents, families, and child-support teams to provide mental health interventions. This candidate will primarily work at the Justice Center but can include virtual and in-home services when indicated to meet the needs of the position. Therapists at various levels in their professional journey are encouraged to apply.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must live in the St. Louis Metro Area. This position requires a master's degree and a licensed or provisionally licensed therapist (PLPC, LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT) with the State of Missouri. The ideal candidate will be creative, and flexible, have a high level of integrity, work well autonomously, and have excellent time management skills. Must be at least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical and drug screening. This position also requires a valid driver's license, proof of current vehicle insurance and reliable transportation.

BONUS: $2,500 ($1,250.00 sign-on bonus will be paid on your first paycheck and the $1,2500.00 retention bonus will be after 12 months of service.)
