Communications Specialist, External Communications Lead

The Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) Office of Communications seeks to hire a Communications Specialist who will serve as the Office's External Communications Lead. SRNL's Office of Communications provides strategic and tactical communications counsel and the full spectrum of communication services to support the laboratory's missions, strategic goals and other initiatives. At SRNL we put science to work to protect the environment, serve our national defense, secure our clean energy future and reduce emerging nuclear threats. We're looking for a savvy and seasoned communications practitioner who is ready to leverage their storytelling, media relations and social media experiences and expertise to help advance SRNL's brand by engaging with the media to build understanding of and support for SRNL's mission. This challenging position offers the ability to help SRNL's researchers, engineers and other professionals tell their stories to our audiences.
