Shive-Hattery has an immediate opening in our Quad Cities office (Bettendorf IA) for a Design Professional with 3 to 12 years of professional architectural experience. Under the direction of the Studio Leader this position performs a variety of duties associated with Architectural Design and related services to assist in achieving desired client satisfaction, and business results. * Assist in Multidisciplinary Projects: Collaborate with project teams to contribute to the successful execution of architectural plans, with a keen desire to learn and improve. * Support Senior Architects: Work closely with senior architects, helping to develop design solutions and gaining valuable insights from their expertise. * Engage in Design Discussions: Participate actively in design meetings, sharing ideas and learning from the creative process of more experienced colleagues. * Construction Documentation: Assist in producing accurate construction documents, ensuring compliance with architectural specifications and building codes, while seeking guidance and feedback to enhance skills. * Technical Proficiency: Develop and refine technical skills using software such as Autodesk Revit, SpecLink, and Microsoft Office, with a focus on continuous learning and improvement. * Client Interaction: Support client meetings and presentations, learning how to effectively communicate design concepts and project progress. * Mentorship and Growth: Seek mentorship opportunities, embrace feedback, and demonstrate a commitment to personal and professional growth within the architectural field. * Innovation and Creativity: Contribute innovative ideas and solutions, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and learning.
