Project Developer, Multifamily Services

As a Project Developer, Multifamily Services for The RISE Group, Inc, you will deliver services to multi-family facilities in New York through energy efficiency initiatives sponsored by gas and electric utilities. This represents an excellent opportunity for a highly organized, personable, and technically competent individual to build a platform for continued growth and advancement.

Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible for working with owners and property managers of multifamily sites to arrange for comprehensive energy efficiency upgrades to both common area and dwelling units in targeted eligible buildings.
• Initiate and/or perform on-site energy evaluations.
• Develop recommendations and specifications for improvements.
• Secure commitments from targeted sites to proceed with project installations.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and other in-house RISE resources to arrange professional installation of desired improvements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3-5 years working in a leadership or facilities management capacity in the large multifamily building sector
• In-depth knowledge of utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs and experience in securing incentives from these resources.
• Sound understanding of multifamily building systems and construction, including building envelope, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage the details of multiple programs and tasks effectively and efficiently
• Strong organizational skills are an absolute must; excellent phone and interpersonal demeanor, as well as the ability to set priorities and follow through on tasks is also imperative
