Essential Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate comprehensive patient care plans from development through execution, working closely with physicians and patients to meet their unique needs.
  • Partner with a dedicated, multi-disciplinary team to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to patient wellness.
  • Administer medications and treatments with precision, adhering to the highest standards of care and approved nursing techniques.
  • Influence our practice by participating in performance improvement initiatives, unit decisions, and professional development activities.
  • Apply your clinical expertise and critical thinking to guide care decisions, enhance patient safety, and provide expert guidance across departments.

Education and Experience

  • BSN Preferred: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is ideal.
  • ADN / Diploma RNs Welcome! We encourage you to apply if you have an Associate Degree or RN Diploma and meet any of these qualifications:
    • Willingness to enroll in a BSN program.
    • A current professional nursing certification.
    • 5+ years of RN experience.

Certification and Licensure

  • Licensed as an RN in state of practice
  • Approved CPR certification required within 90 days
    • (Other certification per unit requirements: ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP)
    • 30 hours of continued education

Special Physical Demands

This is an active role, and the ability to perform these essential functions is key to your success. We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations as needed.

For our Hospital, Home Health, Hospice, and Oncology RNs, the position is physically demanding. You can expect to be on your feet frequently, with regular walking and standing throughout your shift. The role requires the strength to frequently lift or move patients and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds. You will constantly use your hands and arms for direct patient care and will occasionally need to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Clear vision, talking, and hearing are essential for patient safety.

Our Clinic and Ambulatory RNs will also experience an active day filled with frequent standing and walking, as well as constant use of the hands for clinical tasks. This role requires the ability to regularly lift or move items up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. This position also requires occasional sitting, stooping, or kneeling. Strong communication skills and comprehensive vision, including peripheral and depth perception, are vital.
