Security Sergeant - Central State Hospital

Job Description:

(2) 8:00 PM-8:00 AM and every other weekend (Nightshift)

• Provides supervision and guidanceto assigned staff; including scheduling daily assignments and duties.
• Provides written reports and staff training.
• Conducts performance appraisals of assigned employees.
• Provides internal and external security and transportation for patients and staff.
• Responds and assists with patient physical management and all hospital emergencies.
• Evaluates, completes and approves timesheets of assigned staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Shift Differential Available: 10% increase in hourly wage (3:00 PM-11:00PM) & 12% increase in hourly wage (11:00 PM-7 AM) AND $1.00 Hourly Wage increase for Weekend Premium Available

Required

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Valid Driver's License
• Must have at leastone yearof experience in law enforcement or security.
• 1-2 years experience in a supervisory position preferred.
