Job Description: MRI Tech, 30K Sign on Bonus if eligible Full-time, 10-hour shifts Tues-Fri 6am - 4:30pm Call rotation with 4 -5 techs Job Description Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to obtain high quality diagnostic images of patients for medical interpretation. Interact daily with patients, physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging studies and patient safety. Job Duties Operate MRI equipment to acquire high quality diagnostic images of the body according to established protocols and physician orders. Monitor patients during scanning procedures, observing for any adverse reactions or discomfort, and taking appropriate action as necessary. Adhere to MRI safety protocols, including screening patients for contraindications, ensuring proper use of magnetic field equipment, and monitoring for potential hazards. Perform daily equipment checks and quality control test to verify proper functioning of the MRI scanner and associated peripherals. Requirements No experience is required. HS Diploma/GED is required Must have technical degree or must be a Military graduate of JRCERT accredited program is required. AART is required Preferred Requirements Two years experience working as an MRI Tech in a hospital or medical imaging facility is preferred.
