JOB SUMMARY:

The SVP, Group Executive Producer (SVP, EP) is an experienced creative advertising leader who utilizes their superior skill to guide large-scale projects across any combination of film, sound, photography, animation, experiential, post/VFX and beyond. The SVP, Group EP partners with agency creative and brand teams to deliver superior work for a portfolio of brands, while providing oversight and mentorship to the production unit assigned to the portfolio.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Production Responsibilities - Leads and oversees full range of production deliverables for an assigned multi-brand portfolio from project planning to final delivery with regards to timing, quality, and budget.

  • Accountable for and advises on full range of client deliverables for an assigned multi-brand portfolio from project planning to final production delivery with regards to timing, quality, and budget.
  • Serves as a member of core integrated brand teams as the production lead across assigned client(s) and brand(s) responsible for participating in key client meetings, building trust and rapport with clients and serving as escalation point for high level production issues.
  • Partners with agency brand teams to help brainstorm concepts, evaluate feasibility, recommend approaches to execution and develop storyboards and comps.
  • Presents vendor options for execution, develop bid specs, and solicit bids and treatments from internal and external suppliers.
  • Partners with agency brand teams to build estimates against scoped tactics.
  • Partners with agency producers to establish accurate project plans, budgets, schedules and assumptions against scoped deliverables.
  • Works with resourcing lead to ensure adequate project support via staff/freelance.
  • Serves as mentor, sounding board and escalation point for other producers in production unit.
  • Researches and shares best-in-class production suppliers, along with the latest trends and innovations in media.

Talent Management - Leads a team of producers across multi-brand portfolio by providing mentorship/guidance, hiring and retaining highly capable people, resourcing, and fostering inclusive and positive culture

  • Manages, mentors, and delegates assignments to Producer team in conjunction with resourcing lead, while ensuring open communication and timely completion of assigned work.
  • Completes performance reviews, promotes training and development, and partners with HR on employee relations and performance management issues for assigned team.
  • Assigns client accounts and projects to Producers, matching talent to task, and providing proper yearly coverage and team staffing mix.
  • Leads staffing/resourcing conversations; assess hiring needs, interviews, ensures smooth onboarding process for new hires in close partnership with production leadership and resource management.
  • Actively works to ensure a positive team culture by empowering employees, actively listening to issues, ensuring decision are made with an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion lens.
  • Partner closely with other senior EPs to share cross-team learnings.

Agency and Culture - Participates in internal & external initiatives to elevate agency and network operations, community and brand.

  • Participates and leads agency and network-wide initiatives related to operational and cultural improvements.
  • Champions organizational efforts around Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
  • Represents the agency and network in internal/external events (panels, conferences.)

DEGREE/DIPLOMA Bachelor's

AREA OF STUDY Any area of study

REQUIRED/PREFERRED Preferred

EXPERIENCE:

12 + years Film Production, Advertising, or similar film or Commercial Production.

Experience Pharmaceutical Marketing and Advertising Preferred

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Yes - 1-20%

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) or equivalent platform
  • Proficient with financial management tools (eg, SAP/Fiori or equivalent) a plus but not required
  • Expert level knowledge of Print, video and digital (Websites, IVAs, Emails, Banner ads, Congress Panels) knowledge
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong people management ability.
  • Experience working/knowledge of regulated industry- healthcare preferred.
  • Experience with local and global union governance.
  • Knowledge of talent and materials usage/sourcing.

SALARY

$190,000 to $270,000 annually.

The salary range for this position is noted within this job posting. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
