Summary:

Responsible for business development, networking and cross-sell activities for the Asset Management & Trust department within the bank.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead local business development activities. Develops sourcing strategies, maintains and expands prospects and referral sources. Establishes prospect meetings through cold calling, attending community and industry networking events and existing relationships.

Delivers effective client services to optimize retention, asset growth, relationship profitability and client satisfaction.

Develops and maintains a robust pipeline of qualified prospects and opportunities.

Identifies and initiates new projects and client opportunities through partnerships, alliances and joint ventures.

Identify and maximize cross-sell opportunities between the various lines of business throughout the Bank.

Consistently meet and exceed profit, deposit and loan sales goals.

Coordinate with division managers on community banking partnerships.

Demonstrate sound judgment in decision making, abiding appropriately to established guidelines and procedures.

Provides guidance to prospective customers on how to maximize the value of Cadence's services.

Gather data and key insights to be used in the selling process.

Establishes and maintains close partnerships with key functional leaders (relationship managers, insurance, wealth planning and investment teams) to understand Cadence capabilities.

Accountable for more complex and/or larger business relationships.

Leads the identification, development and implementation of strategic process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality across the team, line of business and/or the organization (e.g., cross sales processes and activities)

Requirements:

10+ years of client facing account management and/or strategic business development

5+ years of senior management experience in a complex organization including influencing senior management and critical stakeholder / customer responsibility

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with high-profile clients

Broad base knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management

Ability to bring a network of contacts and book of business

Exceptional written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

Good organizational skills
