Scope and Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities of the Job:

Tactical Coordination:

  • Implement and oversee the execution of supply chain strategies and processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Coordinate with various departments, including operations, sales, and finance to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives.
  • Develop and manage operational plans, ensuring timely delivery and minimal disruption.
  • Identify and recommend business responses to changing market conditions and dynamics.

Operational Finance:

  • Monitor and manage overall supply chain costs, including transportation and storage expenses.
  • Develop and maintain integrated budgets for supply chain operations.
  • Analyze financial data and performance metrics to inform decision-making and drive cost-effective strategies.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks within the supply chain, including supply disruptions, quality issues, and compliance concerns.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address and resolve issues proactively.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of risk management strategies and adjust as necessary.

Efficiency and Process Improvement:

  • Analyze supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance operational performance and reduce costs.
  • Utilize data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize supply chain operations.

Supplier Management:

  • Develop and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality and timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that arise, ensuring compliance with contract terms and quality standards.

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee inventory levels to maintain the balance between supply and demand while minimizing excess inventory and stockouts.
  • Implement inventory control measures to ensure accuracy and efficiency in inventory management.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and guide supply chain staff, including procurement, logistics, and inventory team members.
  • Provide training, support, and development opportunities to enhance team performance and effectiveness.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to supply chain activities, financial transactions, and risk management.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years supply chain, logistics, financial and/or project management experience with a proven track record of driving results based on data, metrics, and KPIs.
  • chemical and gas supply chain experience in a Fab start-up & sustaining environment.

Experience and Education:

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on tactical coordination, financial management, and process improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) preferred.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency in applicable programs

Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on financial management and risk mitigation.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for efficiency and process optimization.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and financial analysis tools.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
