Financial Analyst

HealthPartners is hiring a Financial Analyst. This role has immediate responsibility for HealthPartners financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting/budgeting efforts. They will develop, maintain and analyze financial models. This role provides financial analysis support as directed.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Productively work with all levels of management; support and assist leaders, other team members, and other areas of HealthPartners.

2. Enhance processes and procedures to facilitate accurate and timely financial and managerial reporting and financial analysis.

3. Maintain, develop, and support financial and managerial reporting.

4. Assists leaders with operating and financial analysis efforts.

5. Supports financial forecasting and budgeting processes.

1. Participates in special projects and initiatives as directed.
2. Assist with the monthly close process and reporting.
3. Support vendor assessment and provide financial advisement to purchasing contracts.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA/BS in finance, accounting, or business related field
• 2 years experience in finance, accounting, and/or business related field
• Strong spreadsheet and computer skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of management and staff

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in the health care industry
• Experience with budgeting/forecasting
