Qualifications High school diploma Minimum three years of related experience Valid driver's license in good standing Current auto insurance Job Purpose The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for the maintenance of all CVI owned facilities. This is accomplished through performing on-site repairs, maintenance, and overall upkeep. The incumbent is also responsible for coordinating and overseeing work done by third party vendors. Duties and Responsibilities Personally performs and/or coordinates facilities maintenance Maintains inventory control and expenditure procedures use of purchase order is required Maintains, revises and updates logs, records and forms that are necessary for the documentation and management of building maintenance, as well as program files Oversees resident house participation in facilities' group living chores to ensure compliance with program rules Participates in staff meetings for the purpose of gathering information required to perform functions and be altered to maintenance issues Performs routine clerical tasks as needed for facility and program maintenance Available to be contacted in an emergency Perform all other related duties as requested or assigned
