Position Summary The Taub Institute for Research on Alzheimer's Disease and the Aging Brain is seeking a Data Manager to work in the lab of Dr. Miguel Arce. The ideal candidate will have primary responsibility for data integrity, data management, and data analysis for various cross-national cohort studies with the objective of analyzing how AD risk factors may impact the risk of mild cognitive impairment and dementia across populations. The candidate will harmonize and organize data sets including the maintenance of relevant data documentation. Primary decisions will be related to statistical analyses according to knowledge and experience level. Broader decisions will be made in consultation with the PI. The candidate will report to the PI and will communicate and offer advice to the PI regarding statistical approaches, program performance, and suggestions for improvement. They will perform statistical analysis of data sets, including structural equation modeling, longitudinal mixed models, and survival modeling approaches. The candidate will interact with investigators, postdoctoral fellows, and staff at Columbia University and at other sites. The candidate will assist in preparation of manuscripts for publication, participate in, and author of scientific manuscripts, and assist with power analyses and other aspects of development and implementation of research studies.
