About the Role

As theSenior Market Insights Analyst, you will be a strategic advisor, providingqualitative insights and market intelligencethat help technology vendors and solution providers succeed in thepublic sector. Your role will focus onidentifying trends, analyzing agency initiatives, and translating complex government dynamics into actionable opportunitiesthat drive business growth.

Rather than just interpreting data, you will focus onunderstanding the motivations, challenges, and procurement behaviors of federal, state, and local agencies. Your insights willshape go-to-market strategies, sales engagements, and marketing campaigns, ensuring that public sector stakeholders are equipped with the knowledge needed to navigate the government IT landscape.

This role is ideal for someone who canconnect the dots between government policy, agency missions, IT priorities, and vendor opportunities-crafting compelling narratives that influence decision-making and drive strategic business development.

What You'll Do
  • Public Sector Market Intelligence- Research government agency missions, initiatives, and IT procurement trends to identify where and how vendors can align their solutions with agency needs.

  • Strategic Storytelling- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative research intoinsightful reports, whitepapers, and presentationsthat shape public sector sales and marketing strategies.

  • Advisory & Enablement- Act as a keyadvisor to sales, marketing, and vendor teams, offering market guidance, competitive insights, and messaging strategies that resonate with government buyers.

  • Industry Engagement - Monitor public sector IT policies, funding allocations, and procurement shifts, ensuring stakeholders stay ahead of regulatory changes and emerging opportunities.

  • Thought Leadership & Training - Develop and deliverbriefings, training sessions, and workshopson public sector IT trends, government buying behaviors, and strategic market positioning.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration- Partner with business intelligence, vendor management, and sales teams to ensure market intelligencetranslates into impactful go-to-market strategies.

  • Competitive & Policy Analysis - Assess competitor positioning in government contracts, identify risks and gaps, and providerecommendations to enhance competitive differentiation.

  • Research Enablement - Provide guidance onpublic sector research tools and methodologies, equipping internal teams with the knowledge and resources needed for proactive decision-making.

What We're Looking For
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into business intelligence.

  • Experience in market research, business analysis, or sales intelligence, particularly within the public sector IT industry.

  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations and communicate insights effectively to senior leadership and external stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools and data visualization.

  • Knowledge of government procurement processes, agency IT initiatives, and public sector technology trends is a plus.
