Creates, evaluates and modifies prototypes to support evolving hardware and software application development. May develop user profiles, with emphasis on human error control, display issues, visual interaction, physical manipulation and task and objective analyses. Develops and applies software design/usability processes in the investigation of technical problems. Provides product usability, evaluation and support to product development teams, including the analysis and investigation of applications/systems including tactile methods, visual graphics, web, multimedia, voice response and conversational user interaction. May assist in developing design concept and implementation, providing input on user design considerations. May produce specifications describing user requirements and internal structures for product in development.
Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 10 years directly relevant experience; experience should include comprehensive experience as a business/process leader or industry expert Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: - PhD or Law + 8 yrs; Masters + 9 yrs; Associates degree + 11 yrs; High School + 12 yrs. Comments for Suppliers: ATSCALE is a newer technology but we need this hands-on experience. Finance domain background. Senior Cognos/ATSCALE developer with 7 to 10 years of experience with FrameWorkManager Models, Analytics/Reports. Experience working with Cognos 11.x. Strong proficiency in SQL with capability to write complex queries. Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members and other teams. Experience working in Agile environments. Cognos BI/Analytics Certification would be preferred. Role and Responsibilities Design, Develop, and Maintain Cognos FM Models and Reports. Implement best practices in design and development of Cognos FM Models and Reports to ensure high quality of deliverables and ease of maintenance. Write complex SQL queries involving complex joins and multiple tables against the Snowflake database and validate the results against the results produced by the Cognos Packages and Reports. | |
