Software Engineer

Software Engineer opportunity in Lexington, MA!

The Software Engineer will work in a laboratory team environment to design, develop, and integrate control software for use in wireless communications systems such as communication satellite payloads and associated ground terminals. The software will primarily be run on both commercially available single-board computers in an embedded environment and general purpose processors. The software will be integrated and then tested with a mix of commercial o -the-shelf and proprietary digital hardware boards used to perform advanced digital signal processing functions, commercial o -the-shelf networking equipment, and application layer services. The individual will be responsible for having a system level understanding to lead the hands- on diagnosis of issues which arise during the integration and testing process. The individual will then work closely with other software and rmware developers to remedy the issues.

- 12+ years of C/C++ programming experience

-Software Architecture

-Object Oriented Software Design

-Joint Adjunct Waveform Standard (JAWS)

-Development AEHF and Milstar Satcom Systems

-Python scripting

-Linux Environment

-Protected Tactical Waveform

-Active Secret security clearance

-Bachelors Degree

-Java Development

-Maven or Gradle, Git / Gitlab, Make / Autotools Hardware and Software Integration
