Fox Corporation's Data Engineering team is seeking a talented Senior MLOps Engineer to join our forward-thinking and innovative Tech team. This role will focus on deploying, managing, and scaling machine learning models within our AWS and Databricks environments. As an MLOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our ML models are deployed reliably, maintained efficiently, and deliver value across the organization.

We are looking for a collaborative professional who can work effectively with multiple internal stakeholders across diverse groups such as Fox Sports, Fox News Media, Fox Entertainment, and Fox Television Stations to support a wide array of Data Science and Data Engineering initiatives. Key responsibilities will include developing robust infrastructure as code (IAC) utilizing both Terraform and CloudFormation as well as creating and maintaining GitHub Actions to streamline CI/CD workflows.

The ideal candidate for this role will bring a strong foundation in Data Science and Data Engineering with solid programming skills in Python. Hands-on proficiency with AWS services, such as S3, EC2, ECS, Sage Maker, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, and SNS are essential. Experience in Docker, including building and deploying containers is required to meet our infrastructure and deployment needs. While not mandatory, additional skills that will enhance your fit for this role include familiarity with Bash scripting, experience with serverless architectures like Lambda, exposure to GCP, and Linux OS administration capabilities.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable ML pipelines for the production and deployment of machine learning models.

  • Collaborate closely with data scientists, data engineers, and DevOps to ensure seamless integration and performance of models in AWS and Databricks environments.

  • Build automated workflows for model deployment, monitoring, and retraining, ensuring high availability and reliability.

  • Develop processes for tracking, logging, and versioning of models to support reproducibility and auditability.

  • Implement monitoring solutions to track model performance and data drift, providing insights to maintain and improve model quality over time.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize ML pipelines to improve efficiency and reduce latency.

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in MLOps tools and practices, ensuring that our infrastructure remains cutting-edge and future-ready.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Hands-on experience in MLOps, DevOps, or related fields with a focus on deploying and maintaining ML models in Production.

  • Strong experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, EC2, SageMaker, Lambda) and Databricks.

  • Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines for ML models using tools like Git, Jenkins, or similar.

  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) in a cloud environment.

  • Solid programming skills in Python, with experience in ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools for tracking model performance and data quality, such as Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach to addressing challenges.

  • Strong communication skills with an ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Experience with Databricks MLflow or similar model management frameworks.

  • Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, and compliance in the context of ML model deployment.

  • Experience with Spark for large-scale data processing in a Databricks environment.
