KPMG is currently seeking a Director - IT Finance Controller to join our CFO function.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the Controller for the Information Technology (IT) organization; manage a team of five individuals; team oversees Approval Matrix, Cost Center Structure, Hyperion Reports, third-party telecom vendor mgt, IT and facilities technology projects, internal code management, fixed assets/ Capital Improvement Projects (CIP), project reporting, third-party risk (TPR) development, Coupa Approvals and invoice coding, monthly accruals, accrual reporting, and One Americas Finance and Accounting support
  • Assists in providing financial oversight for the evaluation of business cases, cost optimization initiatives, projects and IT investment decisions including risk assessment and sensitivity analysis
  • Oversee the Finance and Accounting oversight/management of the KPMG Technology Solutions and Applications (KTSA), Mexico wholly owned subsidiary of KPMG US Includes funding, internal, and external reporting, reporting of financials (profit and loss, balance sheet, headcount, client billing) and month-end consolidations and eliminations and any ad hoc reporting or analysis as requested; the Mexico Finance and Accounting team has a dotted line into the US IT Controller
  • Review financial statements for accuracy, identifies items for follow-up and distribute monthly reports to various groups and leaders and direct support of the Nexus, Enterprise Software Solutions (ESS), and Enterprise Software groups
  • Provide project accounting expertise for Technology infrastructure and Software development; ensure firm policies, support new policy development as needed
  • Direct activities relating to the actual close results and reporting for operating and capital expenditures for all associated legal entities and consolidated reporting

Qualifications:

  • Minimum fifteen years of recent work experience within a large IT organization and recent experience as technical lead controller or finance manager
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in accounting or finance required; MBA and or CPA preferred from an accredited college/university; a minor in computer science from accredited college/university is a plus
  • Experience with financial management tools such as Apptio, ServiceNow, SAP (S4HANA), Oracle, QlikView or similar tools; well-grounded experience with SaaS solutions, Web Based tools, and various Microsoft applications, financial reporting and other data retrieval systems
  • Experience managing an offshore finance team
  • Must demonstrate strong analytical skills, be detail oriented with strong presentation and communication skills
  • Possess demonstrated IT financial expertise managing a team and multiple ongoing initiatives
