Job Description Vertex continues to grow at a rapid pace with challenging and exciting opportunities for motivated professionals that would like to join and contribute to execute the Vertex mission. With this aim the finance team is creating a new role for a future leader in Vertex's organization. The Director DST Finance will provide financial direction and strategic insight to our Disease Strategy Teams (DSTs) - groups created to play a key role as the "owners" of each disease area, driving strategy and ensuring execution. This role will partner closely with Disease Area Executives to help define and deliver against our goals, including identification of key value drivers and Business KPIs and provide strategic decision support, influencing decisions and identifying opportunities to invest, save costs and mitigate risks on a global basis. This role will also conduct corporate-level cross functional valuations, modeling and other analysis to help drive our decision-making process. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
