For more information, visit our website at www.kearfott.com Position Description: The Supplier Development Specialist (SDS) will enhance the efficiency of business processes, particularly the delivery of supplies. They will: Work with different heads of department to monitor inventory levels, assess supply vendors and ensure delivered supplies meet quality standards. Our SDS needs to be assertive and needs to know the business at high contextual levels. The Supplier Development Specialist is a key contributor to the Materials Department by ensuring materials are available to support the production schedules for on-time deliveries of customer orders. They will lead the effort to resolve any material issues resulting from poor supplier performance by overseeing the flow of materials and components and by taking action to solve problems in effort that materials will be available to fulfill orders.
