Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering SMTS Key Management in Seattle, WA:

Job Duties: Design, implement, test, and deliver Key Management software products. Working on new features, bug fixes, and tasks aimed at enhancing operational excellence. Lead projects, including project planning, tracking progress, and reporting. Break down projects into phases (design, implementation, rollout) and further into smaller tasks with a two-week timeframe. Estimate task completion times, track progress, and provide weekly project status reports. Proactively identify and communicate potential delays, collaborating with engineering managers and project managers. Review code and designs of others and suggest improvements. Conduct thorough code and design reviews, providing constructive feedback. Ensure all work undergoes teammate review before production deployment. Participate in the team's on-call rotation. Respond to monitoring system alerts within a 5-minute timeframe, addressing service outages and performing critical tasks like patching and deployment. Requires a deep understanding of service infrastructure, workflow, and DevOps skills for host operations. Mentor newly acquired employees in Salesforce development. Serve as a trail guide for new team members, facilitating their understanding of team workflows, practices, and introducing them to services, infrastructure, technologies, and tools. Mentor interns and provide guidance to help them acclimate and contribute effectively. Coach team members in self-management and cross-functionality. Ensure the creation of high-value increments meeting the Definition of Done and facilitate the removal of impediments. Host weekly team meetings, reviewing each members tasks, progress, and addressing blockers. Complete company and team-required trainings. Engage in training through Salesforce Trailhead, ensuring accurate completion by answering all questions correctly. *Above address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in the Seattle area: 744 N. 34th St. Seattle, WA 98103, 701 N. 34th St., Seattle, WA 98103, and 929 108th Ave, Bellevue, WA 98004. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in the Seattle area. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Computer Science fundamentals (2) Java (3) AWS (4) Distributed Systems (5) Docker (6) Restful Web Services (7) Agile Methodologies (8) Python (9) Kubernetes (10) Object Oriented Programming (11) Terraform (12) Spinnaker. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $160,700.00 - $243,100.00 per annum.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $160,700 to $243,100.
