Your Opportunity

The MCW/Slicer/Operator is responsible forproperly operating the Microwave panel, Slicer and Dicer and keep line supplied with product.

Core Responsibilities
  • Operates Microwave control panel to properly cook bacon to product specifications.
  • Operates and feeds Slicer with designated materials (bellies, scraps, or ends and pieces).
  • Inspects and trim out any dirt, skin, hair roots or bone.
  • Checks for broken belly comb hooks.
  • Loads raw materials onto lift with electric transporter.
  • Monitors Slicer or Dicer for proper operation.
  • May assist in departmental cleanup as required.
  • Keeps track of downtime and other key operational information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
