Description Summary: Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 1. Education: Associate's Degree required with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred or equivalent experience. 2. License/Certifications: HFMA/AAHAM certification preferred as well. 3. Experience: Ten years' related health care revenue cycle management experience preferably within a multi-organizational hospital system. 4. A high level of problem solving skills necessary to develop and implement integrated operational system procedures for the Single Billing Office and direct the management of Financial Counseling, Customer Service and Collections units. 5. Strong knowledge of revenue cycle principles in both hospital and physician practice environments to provide the necessary technical and organizational direction. 6. A high level of interpersonal skills necessary to support a multidisciplinary Consolidated Business Office (CBO), to facilitate effective management/coordination of multiple personnel, coordinate efforts of decentralized staff responsible for customer service, financial counseling and self-pay account resolution (such as front-end collections, financial counseling, and free care application), and the ability to communicate effectively with external member organization personnel. 7.
