Job Summary

You will have the ability to provide daily supervision of Dispatch team to ensure adherence to company and regulatory policies. Monitors individual as well as team performance in providing effective support to field supervisors and employees.

Essential Functions

  • Provides daily supervision to dispatchers ensuring offsite support to field employees, local supervision and external customers.
  • Observe, coach, develop employees and improve individual and team performance by creating an environment that allows individuals and teams to contribute to their maximum potential.
  • Conduct timely and effective performance discussions.
  • Develop and communicate all process changes to dispatchers and ensure required manuals are kept current and accessible.
  • Organize and maintain dispatch schedule for regular, overtime and holiday work.
  • Monitor workload and communicate resource needs to Districts.
  • Directly supervise employees and keep management apprised of any personnel issues.
  • Promote positive customer and employee relations.
  • Initiate regular contact with internal customers to understand needs, expectations and build positive relations.
  • Comply with Company and industry standards and regulations.
  • Monitor field employee productivity and keep local supervision informed of potential issues.
  • Ensures that all required reports are completed within prescribed schedules.
  • Ensures training requirements, compliance and needs are current and satisfied.
  • Oversees cleanliness and safety of dispatch center.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education Description

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in business administration or related field from an accredited college or university.

    • In lieu of a degree, will consider a combination of education and related experience in natural gas operations totaling four (4) years, where each year of applicable college = 1 year and each year of applicable work experience = 0.5 year. Experience in lieu of education is in addition to the Experience requirements.



Experience

  • Requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience in natural gas operations or customer services.
