* The AVP - Eligibility is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their department(s). They set goals, guide Directors/Managers/Supervisors, and are responsible for the financial performance of a given area. This role is responsible for managing labor resources, expenses, etc. to budget, customer, client and employee satisfaction and retention, Evaluate and achieve departmental objectives. * Monitor performance statistics. * Monitor and report projections and achievements. * Develop and monitor quality control procedures. * Continuously evaluate departmental costs and pricing models. * Review new business referrals, collections, and fee statistics. * Create and maintain strategic objectives, employee training, and control procedures. * Continuously work to improve overall productivity efficiencies. * Must be able to meet and communicate effectively with clients - meeting or exceeding expectations * Maintain confidentiality of company business at all times. * Adhere to prescribed polices and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and the Employee Code of Conduct. * Maintain awareness of and actively participate in the corporate Compliance program. * Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations: * 7-10 years experience in eligibility and enrollment/revenue cycle * Minimum 5 years managerial experience in Healthcare industry (preferred eligibility/enrollment/revenue cycle) * Bachelor's degree preferred * Ability to effectively work and communicate with staff, all levels of management, outside agencies and clients * Ability to present oneself in a courteous and professional manner at all times * Ability to stay on-task with little or no management supervision * Demonstrate initiative and creativity in fulfilling job responsibilities * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a busy work environment * Reliability of task completion and follow-up * Demonstrate leadership qualities * High level of knowledge in the areas of Medicaid Eligibility, Qualifications and Policy * Proficiency in Microsoft office including excel, power point, etc. Working Conditions: * Office environment with some travel to client sites We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
