Compounding Assistant I Category: Manufacturing & Production Employment Type: Contract Reference: BH-380040 Yoh Scientific is actively recruiting for an entry-level Compounding Assistant to work a contract assignment in Fort Worth, Texas! In order to be considered, candidate must have Bachelor's degree. Must have completed at least 2 Chemistry courses (with laboratory). Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering discipline preferred. Title: Compounding Assistant Location: Fort Worth, Texas Duration: One year assignment, with potential for extension but no guarantee Work Schedule: Full-time, Tuesday - Saturday: 7:00am - 3:00pm. Due to business needs, it may be necessary to work overtime including nights and/or weekends on occasion. Pay Rate: $22/hour Responsibilities: Support the production of quality sterile filtered products to meet the production schedule, which includes cleaning and preparation of processing equipment, maintaining the inventory of supplies and general housekeeping duties. Will be responsible for integrity testing of filters, preparation and sterilization of processing equipment, and coordinating task and schedules within the group and across functional lines. Although this is a first shift assignment, due to business needs, it may be necessary to work overtime including nights and/or weekends Requirements: Bachelor's degree required; Science or Engineering discipline preferred. Must have completed at least two Chemistry courses with laboratory. Must have a high degree of mechanical aptitude and have ability to learn aseptic compounding procedures. Ability to function in a team environment. Ability to operate computerized equipment. Ability to function in a fast-paced machine-paced environment. Ability to follow procedures and rules continuously. Attention to detail. Eager Learner; Self-Motivated. Ability to manage time well. Ability to work under pressure.
