Primary Responsibilities:



  • Assist leadership in understanding and analyzing the changes, innovation, and continuous data improvement efforts across the DSNP line of business
  • Use SAS/SQL to construct member-based datasets
  • Collaborate with various workstreams to develop, execute, and deliver on business requirements
  • Construct polished MS Excel models to satisfy analytical requests
  • Interpret analytical results, develop actionable insights, and present analytical data to leadership for organization-wide decisions
  • Provide ongoing, meaningful communications to requestors on project status, results, and conclusions from analyses

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of work experience in a corporate setting
  • 1+ years of health care experience working with claims data and medical codes
  • Proficiency in performing data analytics
  • At least a beginner level proficiency with Oracle/SQL, PL/SQL and/or other relational database software
  • At least an intermediate level of proficiency working with MS Excel including formulas, calculations, charts, graphs, etc.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience working with Medicare Advantage and Medicaid data

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $70,200 to $137,800 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with al minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
