A Senior Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in UTI's financial health and strategic planning by assisting with all aspects of preparation, research, and analysis of financials. They lead the support of day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective financial management.

Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis:

    Analyze financial operations, estimate future revenues, and expenditures to prepare budgets

Reporting and Performance Review:

  • Prepare and present financial data and reports as requested.

Strategic Recommendations:

  • Provides functional guidance/advice and training to Analyst teams

Budgeting and Cost Management:

  • Leads the preparation and distribution of annual budget, reforecast, and consolidation process

Leadership and Collaboration:

    • Assist with operational reviews. Research, analyze, and interpret actual results, explain discrepancies, and make recommendations for improvements.


Qualifications

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance or related field
  • 5+ years of finance or accounting experience

Skills

  • Interpersonal communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Judgment and Problem-Solving: Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Organization and Planning: Ability to organize, plan, prioritize and follow through on work.
  • Analytical Skills and Curiosity: Ability to gain, understand and apply information and data as it relates to finance.
  • Leadership: Ability to work with upper management
  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional decorum.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of software applications including; OneStream, Microsoft Office, Crystal Reports, Hyperion and PeopleSoft, Apprise.
