Industrial Field Service Technician I (Atlanta/LaGrange, GA)

As a Field Service Technician I for Donaldson's Services Business, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining and repairing a multitude industrial filtration machines, including filter changeouts. You will work alongside other senior technicians learning and supporting services with the ability to advance. This includes dust collection systems, hydraulic systems, compressed air systems, and power generation inlets. As a Field Service Technician I you will support multiple industries including but not limited to manufacturing, food and beverage, agriculture, and the power industries. Primary geographic responsibility will be in the Georgia area with travel expected to service customers.

Overnight travel expectations are 25% and you will be provided a company vehicle for transportation. This position is ideally based southeast of Atlanta, near LaGrange, GA.

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist with scheduled, unscheduled preventative maintenance and general maintenance services on compressed air and industrial ventilation systems.

• Basic manufacturing, welding and assembly of components

• Provide logistics support to service operations.

• Assist to maintain a clean and efficient workplace.

• Utilizing an iPad and service software to track service job and work hours

• Learn and support senior technicians

• Continually enforces safety to the highest standards.

• This position requires working in diverse conditions including but not limited to areas with exposure to varying degree of industrial noise, exposure to different weather conditions, working at various heights on ladders and aerial lifts, exposure to airborne dust and debris and working with electricity.

• This position is physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stopping, and kneeling. It requires employees to regularly lift and or move up to 10 lbs, frequently lift and or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and or move more than 50 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• 1+ year of Industrial or related experience

• Valid Drivers license

• Must be able to wear a respirator

• Must pass physical requirements evaluation

• Must be able to travel including overnight (estimated 25%)

• Must be able to work overtime as requested

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to work overtime when needed

• Mechanical knowledge

• General Industrial Maintenance

• Self motivated, reliable, and organized

• Ability to work on your one and with a group.

• Experience with welding
