Position Summary |
Performs a variety of professional and administrative work, assisting a support services organization to field and assist with multiple projects, cross-functional teams, and a variety of resources supporting all units within UGA's Auxiliary Services. |
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies |
- Thorough knowledge of the principles, techniques, and practices related to technological systems used to support large-scale university auxiliary services.
- Working knowledge of procurement processes.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and to interpret and work incomplete information, thinking critically to develop plans alongside management and teams.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing. Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively maintain constructive relationships with others.
- Professional working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Prefer experience utilizing project management software and knowledge of intermediate/ advanced project management techniques and best practices.

Project Implementation:
- Organizes basic project requirements, identifies resource needs, assists with implementation of schedules, project guidance and status review meetings and coordinates execution to ensure long term project and system success.
- Coordinates project teams and removes impediments to project success by facilitating communication and problem solving among team members.
- Assists with appropriate project management documentation. Regularly distributes documents to include meeting minutes and project management documentation updates to responsible parties.
- Work with supervisor to verify Verifies complete delivery and system implementation to include performance acceptance testing.

- Assists with the coordination of defining new equipment, system or software functional requirements including documenting specifications or request for proposals, interfacing with Procurement and Auxiliary IT, vendor selection, and liaison with departmental and vendor personnel.
