Education Program Coordinator 2 Job Description The Office of Medical Education ensures curricular excellence of the Doctor of Medicine curriculum, known as Lead.Serve.Inspire. (LSI), and assist with its development, implementation, evaluation, and accreditationthe Lead.Serve.Inspire. (LSI) curriculum integrates foundational science with early patient interaction and longitudinal clinical practice, supported by the vast resources of an academic health center. The LSI curriculum is a three-part, four-year program. The three Parts of the LSI curriculum include Part One: Clinical Foundations (Year 1-Year 2), Part Two: Clinical Application (Year 3), and Part Three: Advanced Clinical Management (Year 4). Part One, Year 1 through Year 2 of the curriculum, is divided into eight blocks covering the major foundational sciences topics and their clinical correlates. Over four hundred medical students are enrolled annually in Part One. Under the leadership of the Associate Dean for Medical Education, the Part One Academic Program Co-Directors (APD), Program Manager, Part One, Program Manager, Longitudinal Practice and in collaboration with the Director of Longitudinal Practice (LP) and the Director of Longitudinal Group (LG), and the LSI curricular staff, the Education Program Coordinator 2 assists the with the implementation of the LSI curriculum. Works collaboratively with the Program Manager, Part One, Program Manager, Longitudinal Practice and to plan, prioritize, and implement daily operations of the program. Assists academic program directors, program managers, and program coordinators in organizing and implementing components of the LSI curriculum. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to identify and procure educational resources to support program. Coordinates and oversees program purchasing, invoicing and expense tracking in Workday. Assists with LP faculty recruitment, LG faculty scheduling for small group teaching and other medical student educational activities. Triage and resolve routine issues independently and, when appropriate, partner with program leadership to address novel program issues. Minimum Required Qualifications Preferred Qualifications
