Shift: 1st Shift (M-F)
Hours: 6:00-2:30pm
Pay Range: $28-36 Hourly DOE
Contract: Temp to Permanent
**Weld test will be required**
Job Summary:
Perform Hand Tig Welding on SST and Alum vacuum fittings.
Vacuum PURGE welds
Round, circular) GMAW SMAW Argon purge welding on a tube 45 mitercut weld
Full penetration (CJP)
Minimal polishing 3/4" stainless steel tubing Welding caps onto solid stainless-steel blocks
Running purge through parts making sure to get no color inside Using mixed gases for the welding process (Helium, Argon) Job Description:
Perform mechanical set-ups and changeovers for all welding operations.
Demonstrate ability to process and Inspect 1st pc in accordance to prints.
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Measure and verify dimensions using inspection Tools
Complete routing and process planning as necessary
Collaborate with Engineering to develop advanced welding processes.
Ability to perform a sequence of operations, consistently maintaining the performance level set for quality and quantity.
Proficiently use all approved hand gauges to inspect component quality at the work center.
Work as a team member to aid others in upholding and maintaining departmental standards including quality goals and on-time delivery goals. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications:
4 years of manufacturing experience
4 years of TIG Welding experience, with Aluminum, Stainless Steel, CBS, Blueprint reading, fabrication, TIG Welding Knowledge of various welding machines including hand welding, tig and orbital welding machines used on stainless steel and other high purity materials. Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings in inch and metric units and BOMs. Strong understanding of related mechanics, flow control elements and MRP concepts. Excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity. Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic PC skills for manufacturing. Experience working in high-purity clean room environment. Certification in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing preferred. Understanding of UHP industry so as to successfully perform duties. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to quality, customer focused mindset both internally and externally. Successful completion of a 2-year professional trade program in Welding Technology or equivalent- or currently enrolled in such a program Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 lbs. Focus on safety in all daily operations. Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
