About the Team/Role As a global provider of payment processing, management of lending processes and associated credit risk are of fundamental importance to strategic objectives. This position meets the ritical function at the center of the lending framework, risk management and analytical experience to identify trends and changes in the portfolio and commercial and risk-based impact analysis to engage LOB representatives to define and achieve strategic business goals. Therefore, a successful candidate is expected to leverage WEX internal data and models, as well as external data, to derive clear, targeted-oriented results that are visualized in a compelling way leveraging WEX dashboarding capabilities. The candidate is expected to be a key member of the Global Credit Strategy & Governance team's Portfolio Management and Reporting function, and is responsible for gleaning insights into credit portfolios through monitoring and investigation of trends and levels of key risk metrics, and existing models, as well as working with the LOB and commercial risk team to profitably expand revenue growth. The work will span the entire risk organization including the "credit lifecycle" of customer accounts, from marketing and adjudication through portfolio management to collections and credit losses. The candidate must be a collaborative player with the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities and independently move analytical projects to completion, while also effectively communicating complex, abstract concepts to management. How you'll make an impact Reporting & Analysis: * Partner with the WEX analytical community to ensure data availability to meet use cases and reporting requirements * Collaborate with the commercial engagement team, LOBs and risk functions to identify KPI/KRIs * Leverage SQL and Python to query existing data and run analysis on WEX data and models * Develop dashboard and packaged reporting for delivery to key stakeholders * Monitor KPI/KRI universe and set standards for reporting * Pair reporting with business activities to provide context and meaning in order to drive actionable outcomes * Ability to work with Senior Analysts to support constant reporting requirements for regulators and other internal stakeholders * Prepare reporting for management with strategic recommendations and action plans that have been created in collaboration with LOB and risk stakeholders Experience you'll bring * BA/BS degree or equivalent experience * 3+ years of experience as a risk and/or financial analyst * 2+ years of experience within the lending credit management lifecycle (lending/adjudication, credit monitoring, collections, portfolio management etc.) * 2+ years analytics experience (business intelligence, data visualization, portfolio analytics etc.) with proven track record of using quantitative analysis to impact key business or product decisions * Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau * Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) * Ability to build collaborative relationships with cross-functional stakeholders * Ability to create presentations and explain analysis results and technical concepts clearly to a wide variety of audiences The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
