Job Description The Vertex Co-op Program offers students the opportunity to learn about the pharmaceutical industry from a hands-on perspective. You will be working closely with and learning from some of the brightest people in the industry. Not only will co-ops learn about their day-to-day tasks through their specific work assignments, but they will interact and have exposure to our organizational leaders and their teams. Job Summary: The Revenue Accounting Co-Op will be a contributing member of the Global Revenue Accounting team. The Revenue Accounting team has responsibility for the accounting of product revenues including the application of US GAAP accounting principles to complex estimates as well responsibilities relating to operational activities, data analytics and supporting cross functional projects. The Revenue Accounting Co-Op will have the opportunity to participate in accounting activities relating to closing the books monthly and participating in operational projects. The Revenue Accounting Co-Op will additionally participate in assisting the technical accounting team with critical tasks related to period end closes. Accounting close activities will provide experience with core accounting processes that occur in the day to day environment. Projects will provide experience with data analytics, business partnering, presentation skills. Qualifications:
