Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Responsible for managing and implementing marketing activities for assigned product areas through research, strategic planning and implementation.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Manages overall profitability of product line(s)
  • Responsible for the development, implementation, and control of marketing programs to maintain or increase market share and profitability.
  • Develops and administers launch plans for new or revised products and manages product thru the entire life cycle.
  • Participates in planning and execution of sales promotions at events such as conferences, trade shows, or user meetings.
  • Manages all operational aspects of product line
  • Maintains an active field travel schedule to regularly meet with customers, sales personnel, and KOLs

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

  • Requires full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in professional field. Uses standard theories, principles and concepts and integrates them to propose a course of action.
  • Works under general supervision. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals. May periodically assist in orienting, training, and/or reviewing the work of other peers.
  • Judgement is required in resolving complex problems based on experience.
  • Interacts with internal and/or external clients and customers to negotiate and interpret information on projects and unit operations. May consult with senior management.


Target Based Range

$109,500 to $119,500

Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications-Experience/Training/Education/Etc

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent 4 - 6 years work experience, specifically in Marketing field
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • At least 4 years in medical device product management.
  • 2 years of business to business sales experience preferred.

Language and mathematical skills; reasoning ability:

  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect date, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
