Work Shift Part Time - Weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Work hours may vary. This position is scheduled for 19 hours to cover the weekend shift and is not benefits eligible. Purpose University Unions proudly offers a comprehensive range of services across multiple buildings on campus. Our spaces include meeting and performance venues, administrative offices, dining operations and recreational facilities like our bowling alley and cutting-edge Esports spaces. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a part time (weekends) Building Attendant II at the Texas Union. Responsibilities include:
Required Qualifications Experience in any of the following fields: custodial, environmental services, hospitality, warehouse, production, or facilities maintenance. Experience following basic work instructions. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred Qualifications High school graduation or GED. Six months or more experience in any of the above listed fields. Demonstrated ability to communicate with supervisors and peer group in a timely and effective manner. Experience using industrial-sized custodial equipment. Ability to read and understand work orders, written instructions, product labels and instructions, and other written job materials. Demonstrated ability and willingness to be an effective team member. Salary Range $17.41 Per Hour Working Conditions
Final candidate will be required to pass a background check prior to starting employment. The candidate must also pass a functional employment test.
