Yoh has a QA Technician
supporting a food manufacturing
in Oakland, CA.
This will be a fully onsite opportunity. The succesful individual will come from a food manufacturing background and have expertise in QA within an FDA regulated environment. If this sounds like you, please apply!
Hours: Monday thru Friday, 5AM- 1:30PM, OT as necessary
What You Will Be Doing
- Responsible for testing and recording ingredient quality analysis tests.
- Responsible for monitoring product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Responsible for identifying any out-of-specification results and escalating to production and quality manager.
- Responsible for the accurate and correct recording of all relevant record logs and documentation.
- Responsible for performing sanitation verification on equipment and other areas that encompass the environmental testing program.
- Ensures the correct recipe guidelines for products are met during processing.
- Ensures documentation and results are recorded timely and are up to date.
- Ensures employees are following all Food Safety and worker safety practices.
- Ensures and educates employees on food safety, SQF, and quality standards.
- Collect product samples for product development, lab retains and the laboratory when directed.
- Perform inspections on products, equipment and machinery.
- Perform internal audits of the facility to capture opportunities that may affect food safety, quality and SQF standards.

Requirments
- Experience within the Food Manufacturing Industry
- QA within an FDA regulated environment may be considered with a specific
and expressed
interest in Food Manufacturing - High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Ability to follow established/documented procedures.
