Position Overview Position Summary: Eastern New Mexico University is seeking doctoral applicants for a full-time faculty member. This is a 10-month tenure-track position with Assistant or Associate professor rank (dependent on experience) with possible extended contract and/or summer employment options. Academic rank, salary, and other duty eligibility will be commensurate with education and experience. This is a residential appointment and campus presence is required. Requirements Duties and Responsibilities Teaching primary graduate and possible undergraduate courses in CDIS Supervising graduate student clinicians in SLP Service, research, and other scholarly activity expectations determined by academic rank Assist with ASHA accreditation compliance as assigned Participate in regular program, departmental, and university activities Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Job Requirements: The candidate should present: 1) CCC-SLP; 2) Earned doctorate (Ph.D or Ed.D preferred); 3) at least two years of CDIS practice experience; and 4) eligibility for NM licensure as SLP. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Applicants must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and commitment to excellence in teaching students of diverse backgrounds. Working Conditions Physical Demand and Working Conditions: Work is sedentary in nature that at times requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
