Job Description

Per Diem Clinical Research Dietitian

Excellent opportunity at MSK! We are seeking a Per Diem Clinical Research Dietitian to support a specific research protocol of a pilot study investigating the impact of a dual weight loss and GIP/GLP-1 intervention in patients with endometrial cancer obesity, overweight, with or without diabetes.

Role Overview:

    Assess electronic food logs and provide nutrition and physical activity counseling via phone.
  • Support clinical research protocols and projects in the inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments with complete and accurate data collection.
  • Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and research staff to ensure safe and accurate implementation of protocols.
  • Foster an environment of professional inquiry (e.g., identify opportunities for conducting nutrition research, and disseminating research results).
  • Assist with publishing results of research findings and share research findings.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Certified Dietitian Nutritionist within 12 months of employment.
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Commission on Dietetic Registration)

Core Skills:

  • Previous research and counseling experience is helpful.
  • The ability to multitask, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including database management.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented.

Additional Information:

  • Location: Virtual
  • Schedule: Vary/Flexible (per diem) and can include nights/weekends
  • Reporting to the Associate Director, Clinical Nutrition

Note - Based on study protocol, this position is needed for approximately 13-months, but timeframe may change depending on recruitment and enrollment in the study. Candidates should be able to support this timeframe.

Pay Range: $48/hour
