Job Description

Position Description:

This position specializes in developing cutting-edge Generative AI solutions that harness the power of natural language processing (NLP), natural language understanding (NLU), and computer vision. This role involves designing and implementing advanced machine learning models, with a strong focus on language models. Create algorithms that extract meaningful insights from diverse data sources, enabling informed decision-making across the organization.

Position Location:

This role could be hybrid (Lincoln, NE) or remote based on proximity to an office location. Hybrid in Lincoln, NE would be the strong first preference.

What you do:



  • Design and develop A.I. solutions using a variety of open source, closed source, and commercial tools.
  • Fine tune and train existing base models, implement RAG solutions, and provide technical expertise for language model architectures.
  • Participate in the A.I. development life cycle using best practices and standards.
  • Work with management, participating in discussions around future direction for current and new technologies and how they will be utilized. Work closely with management and business unit stakeholders to ensure alignment with enterprise business plans and strategic initiatives.
  • Participate in complex projects during design, development, and implementation, both as an individual contributor and as a lead team member.
  • Create and review technical documents for projects and systems, ensuring that documents are kept up to date.
  • Works closely with other technical team members to ensure functional requirements translate completely and correctly into the technical design.
  • Plan, organize, and execute projects of varying complexity, within specified timeframes and budget. May lead small to medium sized development projects or programs.


What you bring:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 3-5 years of overall related experience required.
  • 1 year of experience with Generative AI, small & large language model architectures, neural networks, computer vision, deep learning, language models, or transformers.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience using AI frameworks like TensorFlow, Pytorch, etc.
  • A solid understanding of machine learning and GenAI workflows including ingesting data, analyzing and transforming data, and evaluating the results for meaningful outcomes.

About this Position's Pay
The pay range posted reflects a nationwide minimum to maximum covering all potential locations where the position may be filled. The final determination on pay for any position will be based on multiple factors including role, career level, work location, skill set, and candidate level of experience to ensure pay equity within the organization. This position will be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits package (see above for details). This position will be eligible to participate in our Short-Term Incentive Plan with the annual target defined by the plan.
