Summary

The Consumer Loan Processor - Dual Purpose is responsible for the various duties related to reviewing, processing, funding, and recording all Consumer and Home Equity loans. This position will ensure that all necessary loan documentation is collected and correct to be processed in accordance with HMDA requirements along with Credit Union, State and Federal policies.



Duties & Responsibilities

    Ability to master full end-to-end Consumer Loan and HELOC process.
  • Consistently meet individual production goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors.
  • Ability to perform and master CORE related role requirements.
  • Support the day-to-day planning and operations set by the Loan Processing Manager so that the team meets the required level of service or production.
  • Advocate, promote and create honest and open communication throughout the credit union.
  • Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with the credit union's values, philosophies, and leadership characteristics.
  • Ability to quickly and fluidly shift between processing duties for all consumer and HELOC loan products to provide assistance where it is most necessary.
  • Effectively interact (written or verbal) with all staff throughout the credit union.
  • Ensure credit union remains compliant and protected by consistently following and adhering to all lending policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the workflow or process is providing the best service to the members.


Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a financial institution.
