Position description

Goodarzi Lab - Junior/Assistant Specialist

Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics

UC San Francisco

The Goodarzi Lab at UCSF's Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics is an interdisciplinary research group focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms of cancer metastasis. We take advantage of state-of-the-art computational and experimental techniques to advance our knowledge of the post-transcriptional regulatory pathways that drive cancer progression.

We seek to hire a junior or assistant specialist to assist our group in building computational pipelines and implementing data analytical models. Responsibilities include performing standard genomic and transcriptomic analyses, building customized models for functional genomic platforms, and implementing and routinely documenting accessible pipelines for the community.

The successful candidate will have deep proficiency in molecular cancer biology.
