Job Purpose

This position is essential for driving growth initiatives through conducting data analysis, developing presentations, formulating project plans and schedules, and orchestrating multi-team coordination to ensure the effective support and implementation of new business projects. Responsibilities will include analysing performance data, identifying potential business opportunities, and presenting findings to aid in strategic planning efforts. Additionally, this position will foster collaboration and provide support to achieve growth objectives and ensure long-term sustainability for the Business.



Key Accountabilities

  • Data Analysis and Risk Management: Conduct and analyze primary and secondary data, employing formal research methods, to identify trends, customer preferences, and market insights. Evaluate future technologies, models, and business opportunities using Industry, Honda, consumer, dealer, and distributor data. This involves understanding how businesses operate amidst market trends, competitive analysis, and regulatory changes, and gaining insights into customer base, market strategies, performance metrics, consumer behavior, preferences, purchasing habits, sales data, inventory levels, and market demands. Assess marketability and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure project success. Consolidate and report findings to teams and executive management.
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules outlining tasks, milestones, and timelines for the effective execution of new business opportunities for Powersports, Power Equipment, and Marine Business Units. This position will drive the collaboration of all project details and schedules with multiple business units and departments, including Development, Product Planning, Seihan, National Sales, Marketing, Service, Systems, and other internal and external groups. Scheduling will include coordinating pre-production and mass production timing to support and develop plans for national and global marketing, shows and press events, logistics and service operation procedures, and other required event planning needed to go to market.
  • Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, resolve issues, and facilitate smooth project implementation. Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Presentation Development: Create clear and impactful presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders. These presentations should include detailed investigation findings and analyses of new business opportunities for Powersports, Power Equipment, and Marine Business Units. They must also cover strategies developed in collaboration with various departments, newly developed processes required for the new business ideas, go-to-market strategies and plans, and any additional comprehensive information needed to obtain approval from executive management and to keep the project moving forward.
  • Documentation and SOP Development: Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and project status reports. Additionally, develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency in project execution



Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications including Project, Excel and PowerPoint, with especially strong skills in Project.
  • 7+ years of comprehensive expertise in project management, result tracking, and the formulation of recovery plans and countermeasures.
  • Knowledge of Honda SED processes and Powersports and Power Equipment products.
  • Proven track record of effectively fostering collaboration and teamwork within internal and external teams
  • Strong analytical, written/oral communication, and presentation skills.
