About this Position:

Lead NM technical judgment activity and independently manage supplier part & process assessment to support New Model project timing. Provide technical leadership and high-level expertise to ensure part & process development can meet mass production quality requirements and demand. Lead, perform, and assess supplier capacity verification checks, performing in-depth analysis, OEE analysis and optimal process layout activity for specific part or assembly process. Responsible to effectively develop & execute Business Plan strategies to ensure Honda/Supplier readiness by model, in preparation for mass production launch. Lead targeted labelling audits within the supply base to ensure minimum process requirements are met and maintained throughout the new model development cycle in preparation for SOP. Effectively communicate and manage North American suppliers to ensure on-time achievement of project goals, as well as clearly summarizing each supplier situation so impact, root cause, and CM are clearly understood and communicated.

Responsibilities include:



  • Evaluate, confirm, and judge supplier product/process technical details. Provide technical leadership for supplier process development, process layout & flow, tooling/equipment, manufacturing OEE, and/or Countermeasure Request Forms (CRF).
  • Lead and manage Technical Evaluation meetings across all NMD areas, ensure Supplier processes have capability to meet Honda's demand by model (reference project RFQ).
  • Lead supplier readiness activity for new and critical suppliers to ensure project targets are achieved at key development stages. Provide technical support throughout process audits, new model reviews, and crisis activity (as needed)
  • Engage and collaborate with supplier to ensure resolution of any part & process concerns
  • Mentor and support team of associates for the department, overseeing technical confirmations & judgments


Required Experience:

8+ years of related experience

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
